Teratospermia means an increase in abnormal sperm morphology (shape). The defect may be either in the head, body, or tail.
The causes of teratospermia are stress, genetic traits, chronic diseases or infections, smoking, alcohol, drug use and an unbalanced diet.
Presence of sperm with abnormal morphology affects fertility in males.
